Marr gelled with the audience and band in equal measures and seemed genuinely happy to be on stage. He has some catchy songs and let rip with some Smith’s numbers, just when you weren’t expecting it. #JohnnyMarr, Andy's mate since school in mid-70s Manchester announced his passing this morning.
"Andy will be remembered as a kind and beautiful soul by those who knew him and as a supremely gifted musician by music fans."
Rourke, who organized the #VersusCancer concerts (2006-2009), died from pancreatic cancer.
