You know that episode of #Voyager when #Kes goes backwards?

Well the thing is, she leaps backwards but each time she leaps into, time runs forward.

And it made me think of the episode of #RedDwarf where time ran backwards.

And that's how that Voyager episode should have been done. It should have been backwards with subtitles explaining what was being said.

But is should be a whole reverse entropy thing, and consequences lead to causes. So she could never affect the future.

However, the episode Warlord was fairly good. #Voyager

But the main thing about that is it showed how good Jennifer Lien is at acting. It shows how her usual reserved #Kes is deliberate decision and not a limited acting ability.

But I really enjoyed the possessed Kes. And I would really have liked a character in the show played by Lien who acted just like that. It was great.

It shows sometimes good characters appear by thinking outside the normal.

The absolute worst episode of #Voyager has to be Sacred Ground where #Kes goes in a coma and #Janeway has to do some monks' ritual in order to save her.

The religious people are so irritating with their convoluted clap trap pretending to be deep wisdom.

They keep telling Janeway to give up on science and her natural instinct to want to save Kes, and they just waster her time. And after all the bollocks she goes through, they end up telling her what she has to do anyway!

As I've said, I like #Kes, but it's curious they made her species only live nine years or something, and that she is only two years old ...

That's a bit of a weird, and unnecessary detail, I think. I mean, no one questions her relationship with rainbow man.

But she looks like she's in her twenties so it's OK then.

I find that a bit weird.

So I've watched six or seven episodes of #Voyager and it occurred to me that by far my favourite character at the moment is #Kes

I like how she cares about people and I like how she cares about robo doctor.

And while all the other characters almost blend into one generic Starfleet officer (almost), she's a character that shows individuality and strength.

So go #TeamKes!

Wow. When I read that #StarTrekVoyager wrote #Kes out “quickly”, that really doesn’t get over the sheer speed with which the character was dumped! ~20 minutes from “ooh look there’s something slightly odd happening” to “Note: Poochie died on the way back to his home planet”. Wow.

You might have heard the phrase "Eyes like a Hawk".

Hawks are birds of prey of the family Accipitridae.

But the observant among you will have noticed that this is a Falco tinnunculus (Common Kestrel) which belongs to the kestrel group of the falcon family Falconidae.
