I am grateful for the continued support from the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF) to study oncogenic signaling in multiple myeloma, a cancer that originates from antibody-producing cells in the bone marrow. We will use a functional CRISPR screen to identify bone marrow-derived signals that cause drug resistance. We aim to find novel therapeutic targets that may overcome drug resistance, which is a major hurdle towards a cure for multiple myeloma. #myeloma #KWF #AmsterdamUMC #cancerresearch
