As far as I understand your issue and this project, #valueflows (valueflo.ws) is pretty much what you are looking for. First sentence of the website: "Valueflows (VF) is a set of common vocabularies to describe flows of economic resources of all kinds within distributed economic ecosystems." So, you can use the VF-vocabulary to describe concepts/relationships in #karrot in both human/machine language and if other projects...

Karrot is a free open source platform for sharing real life resources (for example excess food, to prevent it going to waste).
