Day 82 - Karuizawa Prince - Great day on Monday despite the rainy day on Sunday. It was surprisingly busy for a weekday, but really no waits in line at all. I got super busy lately and am catching up on posts tonight.

Day 81 - Karuizawa Prince - so many errands/tasks that I had to skip skiing on Saturday. On Sunday, I had to pick up some stuff in Karuizawa and got hit by wide spread rainstorms🙃 Planned on skipping the day again and was really getting bummed but the weather eased up and I got a few runs in late in the afternoon yesterday… despite the drizzles.

Super happy and proud that my friend, Michio Tsuchiya won a very clear and strong victory in the Karuizawa Mayoral election today!!

He defeated three other candidates including the current mayor and a town councilor who quit his position to run.

There’s a bunch of good places here in Karuizawa. One of the best is Sawamura Bakery near the Kyukaruizawa Rotary and it’s open 365 days a year. Sawamura started in Karuizawa.

Another great place is Kouiro (香色）in Komoro.
