Yesterday my daughter finally made it up and down our local mountain Mt. Miroku (弥勒山 436m) without any assistance. I forced her hand by leaving the hiking child carrier at home but she managed it brilliantly and took her time (4 hours in total 😂 ). She did a bit of cleaning and fed the birds, too.

Yesterday's walk along the Shonai River. Yes, it's only a tree but I can't count the amount of times I've walked or cycled past trees near my house one day to find them gone because an engineer thought it'd be a good place to add a little bit more concrete or help the river flow ever-so-slightly better. #Japan #wildlife #Kasugai #Shonai #LumixS5
