@bitmaker There is a guy on twitter, #keeperofbooks, who started ThickTrunkTuesday, I don't miss twitter, but I miss some of the people. - Great picture!
For #ThickTrunkTuesday a Ginko tree, Ginkgo biloba, in November when it turns golden and drops all of its leaves in a few days.

Pignut hickory - Carya glabra for #ThickTrunkTuesday. One of my favorite trees. I love the bark of this tree and how it divides and joins together again.

A well named shagbark hickory, Carya ovata. Apparently, little bats will roost under the sections of bark.

I woke this morning to the sound of a pair of great horned owls. Then saw that Thick Trunk Tuesday is still trending. It's a good day! Please remember to use Alt Text so as many people as possible can enjoy the glorious trees being posted.
As always, thank you to #KeeperOfBooks for initiating #ThickTrunkTuesday!
