My grandfather, #KarlWeingberger, who died from sepsis OTD in 1941. He had been a highly respected lawyer in Würzburg, Germany. My grandmother, Ruth and two young children were deported to #Auschwitz in 1943. My mother had escaped on the #Kindertransport and was the only one of the family to survive. @auschwitzmuseum

Il faut que je publie les mémoires de mon amie Katharine Bergmann. Katharine m'a raconté tout ça : #Kristallnacht, l' #Anschluss plus tôt cette même année 1938.
Auparavant: son doctorat, ses voyages à Paris. Après: #KinderTransport, l' #exil, assistante sociale, témoin de l'Europe et de l'Amérique … #antisémitisme, #anticommunisme aux USA, #racisme mais la solidarité humaine aussi.
