Picked up stitches to knit a button band 31st March I started to knit using the double knit technique 1st April. Knitting every afternoon plus 2 days I knit morning and afternoon I still haven’t reached the other end. I didn’t comprehend just how long a double knit band would take but it will be worth it. Deconstructed three #CaronAnniversaryCakes #Yarn balls that I found at a discount store into component colors and started my pattern! I don't normally go for neutrals, but these colors are growing on me and the pattern is just mindless enough to make it work. Growing my knitting skills and tackling my very first #Knit #Blanket - I love starting the year off with a no pressure/no deadline project.

I haven't done any knitting since the summer due to my arthritis, so today when I picked it up again I was pleased my fingers still worked 😊 This is going to be a pair of socks for grandaughter Isabelle eventually. The pattern is Mosaic socks by @winwickmum . These are in Regia 4 ply colour 01132 and West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply colour 010 Milk Bottle.
