Prepping for a #Carrot #Kraut today. Very simple: lotsa carrots, a little lemon, sugar, and ginger. They want you to grate the carrots 😂 no thank you, I'll cut them fine and chop the bits.

Still will take me an hour or so just for the prep, but I think the results will be worth it, God willing.

We Mastodonians need to be working that #Fermentation hashtag a little bit harder, so when my latest #Kraut is ready I'll post some pix, God willing.

I'm still new to this, so I like to test my ferments with pH strips. The latest batch tastes marvelous already but I want to make sure it's truly ready.
