Just spent an evening working on a new #KultRPG scenario. Now feeling slightly grimy. Probably a good sign.
The problem with running #KultRPG in an evening slot at a convention is that it's now past 1am and I'm still trying to wind my brain down.
Good run of Disco Inferno though, taking a very different route through the scenario than previous groups. In the end they did ensure that disco will never die.
First playtest of my newest #KultRPG scenario today, The Heist.
Six of us are all running games based on the same pitch, in six different systems. I ran mine with four pre-gen characters, a handful of prompt questions, and a lot of use of the Kult tarot deck.
This run ended with three characters escaping and vowing never to work together again and one...well, he was somewhat changed by the experience.
Just finished running my #KultRPG scenario Disco Inferno for Virtual Grogmeet, where the players managed to bring about a completely different ending to all of my previous groups. An absolute delight.
First PC death in our #KultRPG campaign tonight.
Of course, death is only the beginning...
In other #KultRPG news, I've done another Roll20 character sheet update. Help/Hinder now has its own move button, and relations are no longer all in one box.
Next plan: custom roll results for (dis)advantages as well as basic moves.
After the events of tonight's #KultRPG game, the characters' name for Metropolis is now The Toilet Dimension.
I'm having an exceptionally #KultRPG filled week. I played a one shot on Monday, and ran part one of a three-parter on Tuesday. On Thursday there's the start of my new campaign (session 0 was last week) and I'm offering a one-shot at #ConcreteCow on Saturday.
Monday's one-shot was a murder mystery, partly inspired by Matrons of Mystery! Check out the livestream here:

Just finished Session 0 for my new #KultRPG campaign and I'm absolutely exhausted.
Should be good though. We've got a detective, a curate and a salesman having a not entirely welcome family reunion of sorts, thanks to an unexpected murder.
Now I've got a massive intrigue map to build.
I've just submitted a new update for the #KultRPG character sheet on Roll20. The most common complaint I've heard about it is that the basic move details don't appear in the roll template the way they do in Foundry. So...
If it passes review it'll be live in the next few days. Only in English for now, as I'm not sure if the template code will work with the translation code yet.
@janpmueller Ha, ha 😅

Yesternight was #KultRPG. Due to life, only one player was available, so it became a #SoloRoleplaying #PenAndPaper #TTRPG session, which is much easier to do in #KultDL than in other systems. Thankfully, my players had pre-split the party for me as well, so we didn’t even have to account for it. What followed was a very suspenseful, gripping session. I really like #Solo #Kult. Under normal circumstances I dislike #SplittingTheParty but that is for another post. What counts is that it was rad!

@SebrinaCalkins Indeed! I am not a podcast person myself, I am more visual, I prefer to read (or Seth Skorkowsky’s videos, his “Gang” is hilarious and he also has done some #KultRPG stuff), but even I have listened to some Red Moon RPG and my girlfriend is a huge fan.
@SavageSpiel #KultDL #KultRPG is so good! I am so thankful to the person who introduced me!
First game of 2023: #Kult
My own scenario, Gated, which I'm running for the third time. This one came with a fair amount of pre-game anxiety, but then things got started and of course everything was fine. And by 'fine' I of course mean 'absolute chaos' as the simple matter of driving from a bridge to a house resulted in one character falling unconsious, and his day did not get better from there.
I love #KultRPG so much.
Merry #Kultmas everybody! The publishers of #Kult #KultDL #KultRPG have graciously gifted us with a new free scenario: https://bit.ly/untodeath #xmas #weihnachtsspiel

9. Favourite #TTRPG for its writing
No question, it's #Kult #KultRPG, in particular the GM guide Beyond Darkness and Madness, which I read start to finish as my bedtime reading after it arrived, and still keep going back to. It's absolutely packed with ideas, advice and inspiration.
Seems a bit weird calling a horror guide a delight to read, but it really is. I'd recommend it to any horror GM.
