I’ve been making judicious use of the MultiTimer app to help keep up with the litany of eye drops I need to put in my eyes, all of which are on different schedules. I use this app all the time for things like this. Such a good tool.

I got LASIK yesterday, and for the first time since 1994, when I was 6 years old, I am able to see without corrective lenses.

πŸ‘€ I have worn glasses for 35+ years and never considered laser surgery (Lasik). The whole premise of using a laser to slice and reshape part of your eye never sat right with me, even though conventional wisdom says it's easy and painless. πŸ‘“

❓ Have you considered it? Had it done? Any problems?

I feel like this is important info:

On the bright side (literally dark, of course), I can see Orion in the sky with my own bare eyes. Being from age 9, and mostly living in big cities, I can see it now thanks to and as positive side effect of

Well, about two years after getting , and I'm already back to needing glasses (just for reading and computer work).
Just my two cents, but if I could go back, I'd skip wasting the money on it. It was not worth it.
At least I held on to my old frames, though...

As a sighted person (albeit imperfectly even with ) I still default to reading image descriptions if:
* there is text on the image. It's almost always blurred by screenshot tool, and then further by processing of social networks, more than once if you repost from somewhere else;
* the photo is from look-at-that category. I often lack contest to get it at all, or may easily be wrong about expected reaction. I have to know what I'm nodding to.

Gradually recovering from surgery. Several days later there are still times of the day where I'm wearing my contacts indoors to sooth my eyes.
