Meine #guteTat heute / #guteTatDesTages: bei meiner Tante 8 Glühbirnen zu je 40W in einem Kronleuchter mit #LED-Lampen zu je 4W ausgetauscht. Macht 32W anstatt 320W beim gleicher Lichtstärke.
Jetzt folgt noch ein Lampentausch, einen Kronleuchter mit 5 Lampen zu je 40W austauschen mit einer Deckenleuchte. Macht 20W anstatt 200W bei etwas mehr Lichtstärke.

In Summe 52W statt 520W, also eine Ersparnis von 468W. #EinfachSo. 🤷‍♂️ (ja OK, für ein paar Euros)

I usually approximate the gamma correction just by squaring the PWM duty ratio, giving γ = 2, which is much better than linear mapping and good enough for simple dimming.

Replacing car turn signal bulbs with LEDs can be a bit of a hassle, if the car expects a regular bulb it will flash rapidly (LEDs draw so little power car 'thinks' it is like a blown bulb).

The 'hyperflashing' can generally be fixed with a load resistor, which basically just wastes electricity to simulate a traditional bulb.

No need in NA Miatas though, one little resistor change ( replace R1 with a 1M ) in the flasher unit is all it takes!
