Named their group after the initialism for the common synthesizer function low-frequency oscillation. They gave their first track, the eponymous "LFO", to Nightmares on Wax. The popularity of the demo in clubs led to the track being released by the Sheffield-based Warp label in 1990, and it was a Top 20 hit in the U.K., reaching number 12 in the singles charts in July.

I've added a third part to my online blog/articles about this audio value #noise stuff. Recently expanded to cover random sawtooth (mainly interesting as #LFO), and a different random jagged waveform with inharmonic distortion.

Those are now in the #saugns stable branch, additional flags for R which can be combined with the other options.

Implementing the new modes just requires handling pairs of noise values a little differently, for slope polarity and/or jaggedness.

Так... #Панель с #джойстиками для колёс #Pitch \ #Mod, #PWM и #LowPass #Filter, кажется, сделал. Теперь нужно подключить...
Думаю, что Pitch #Wheel напрямую #подключу к #осцилляторам, а вот #Modulation Wheel - к #LFO. (правда, его ещё добавить нужно... да и странно устроен у #SynthEdit его LFO - в последний раз я изрядно перекубаторился, чтобы настроить правильно #ручку Amount, добавленную мною в него).

@rossgrady Right, I saw the 4 Bits thing in the image description. I would never have thought it would sound so good, which I guess is why I have a non-music day job.

I have the same rule about my #machineshop: no #cnc! My #electroic #music stuff...I don't think I'd buy a computery module, but did hook up an SBC as a #midi to #cv converter and #LFO.
