Continuing of subject of #LH2 as an aircraft fuel, I remember a talk many years ago given by de Havilland aircraft engineer explaining that wings would need to be made stronger in LH2 aircraft to counter the bending moment caused by lift. It seems that having fuel in the wings allows conventional aircraft to counter some of that bending moment. LH2 cannot be stored easily in or on wing structure.
