@capntransit @joelepstein Like those shelters on the #LIRR or #MetroNorth where you are shielded from the wind and rain and might even have a button to turn on the heat or a place to charge your phone.

The new #LIRR concourse at #PennStation is "substantially complete" now. I went there a few weeks ago and it looks really nice, especially compared to what was there before. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

I came across this petition to restore #LIRR Far Rockaway line back to the original Atlantic Terminal schedules.

@Streetsblog Was walking around #RockvilleCentre on #LI yesterday near the #LIRR station. Lots of #bumpouts. I believe the cars weren't driving fast. Station could have used a #bikeShare.
