This "merger" of the PGA/DP/LIV isn't a done deal yet.

It's an agreement "in principle" which apparently was fashonned to terminate all pending litigation (which was no good for anyone) and to lay the foundation for a cooperative agreement between the tours.

However, there are things that still could derail it -- starting with potential DOJ opposition based on anti-monopoly statutes and talk (just talk) of the PGA players forming a union.

So, I'll taking a "wait & see" attitude regarding the matter.

PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan previously said in an interview (in response to an open letter from 9/11 Families United): "I would ask that any player that has left, or that would ever consider leaving, have you ever had to apologize for being a member of the PGA Tour?"

The answer to that question, moving forward, will be "Yes". #golf #PGA #PGATour #LIV #LIVGolf
