#LaceyWA Fireworks show (July 3rd) + #Tumwater Fireworks show (July 4th)

We went to both this year and while the fireworks might be expectedly better at the Tumwater show the overall event in Tumwater was clearly not as good as years prior.

The Lacey event had a dizzying amount of people show up and overall a better local #community vibe, no shortage of unique vendors.

Oh, and we declined the bag check at the Tumwater event (see video in thread)

People, NE Lacey *is* growth.

This is the same unwalkable neighborhood that complained for months about a gas station/corner store going up on a main drag because of... reasons?

TBH, it was some sort of quality of life issue that I never really understood.
