How does this happen? Two cars sitting in the middle of a field pretty much melted, yet all around the field the housing is completely intact and untouched clearly shown in the video.

The aluminum rim on one car melted into a stream. The steering wheels completely melted leaving only the steering shaft. The glass? Melted. Even the engine block beneath the hood was impacted.
