@JasonPerseus I subscribe to the #NYT ( AUD$ peanuts) to supplement the Guardian Aus and BBC News. The #LameStreamMedia here is largely unreadable, unwatchable and owned by the right and the National Broadcaster #ABC is listing to the starboard thanks to the former Liberal Gov’s control of the board and $. There are more stories, op eds and almost blatant publicity masquerading as news by journalists ( more like stenographers) here which only further tarnishes the reputation of journalism and makes it harder to find / keep work for actual journalists. The NYT is, inspire of what might be happening, light years ahead of anything in Aus and from that perspective fills a void.
