Here is a 1960's OS map of the same area at Stanion. In 1960 British Steel were telling everybody that these areas would be restored, but of course it hasn't happened.

I am a frequent user of LIDAR from sites like the NLS, & would like to progress beyond to using QGIS. I used QGIS in about 2018 and found Stuart Eastmeads guide invaluable. With the newer versions it is becoming outdated. Where can I find a good guide, for using UK EA data.
I have tried lots of YouTube videos, but I find them very confusing, & not nearly as good as Eastmeads guide was. #LIDAR #QGIS #landscapearchaeology
