My two most recent purchases were last week, only minutes apart. First #HumbleBundle's Book Bundle of #Bethesda #ttrpg & #3dprinting files ( #modiphiusgames stuff), which I got mostly for the STLs and #fomo.

Second, I took part in the preorder of @systemmatters' translation for #DCC #Lankhmar. I still haven't played DCC yet and only started reading Leiber's books afterwards, but it seems to be a really fascinating setting and rules supplement.

Jade of the Ant: once owned by the Grey Mouser, this palm sized piece of green stone has an ant carved on it. It marks the owner as a friend to ants.

If buried it summons an ant colony to form and prosper at the spot.

If worn, no ant will attack bearer.

If held, ants will communicate with bearer as per a speak with insects spell. The ants want to help.

If wielded it will summon monster (giant ants) but once done it will not serve the bearer agin.

#AnkhMorpork seems like a republic of sorts, though not a good sort. Remembered #Lankhmar as being a republic, but #Wikipedia says technically "no", though kind-of, in practice. The #PirateRepublic was a republic of sorts and #pirate ships were in principle democratic, though generally portrayed as tyrannies, when fictionalized.
