-The shooter had two 9mm handguns on him, additional magazines and ammunition
-The handguns were purchased legally but were not registered
-He was found 3.8 miles from campus

Anthony McCrae. 43 years old. No affiliation with MSU. Arrested for weapons violation in 2019. Banned from owning a firearm for two years. Illegally bought one in 2021. His father said he lost “it” when his mother died and became angry with everybody.

-3 deceased victims were all MSU students
-5 victims in critical condition are also MSU students
-Shooter identified as 43-year-old Anthony McRae
-MSU classes will be cancelled through Monday
-A weapon was recovered when police encountered the shooter, they did not yet specify what was used
-2 victims died from the shooting at Berkey Hall, 1 from MSU Union

#UPDATE: Officials are reporting that 3 confirmed fatalities, 5 injured, some life-threatening. The "Suspect in this incident was located outside of the MSU campus, and it does appear that the suspect has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. It's confirmed that he's deceased."
