#LastSeventeen - the single carraigeway section of the A1 from just below Belford to #Berwick - with devastatingly beautiful views of Holy Island in summer, roadworks in winter and lethal traffic hazards all year round. I'll say no more since I am a public servant and #politics but it's one way of making sure you're either a safe driver or a casualty.

If it looks like I do an early morning braindump on here, it's because I have my thrice weekly commute to #Berwick beckoning - 64 miles without leaving Northumberland, and the #LastSeventeen over the single carriageway section of the A1, the main road connecting Northeast England to Scotland.
