One of Five
Noted in _Heritage Trees of Scotland_ (ISBN: 0904853063), this monster of a beech tree is one of only five in the UK known to exhibit layering.
With its branches stretching out in all directions and spooky low-angle light-painting, let's just say I was glad to have parked the car facing outwards...
