Its always been weird how we have real hotspots of more liberal folks in Alabama but we fail to be represented (of course, gerrymandering). Anyway, it was ruled that the congressional districts are biased and need redrawn!

It is beautiful here, and there are a lot of excellent people. The US South gets a bad rep (for reasons!) but also because the good is never allowed to show. We have strong local communities of care, and thats huge in this world.

I wish i could see this view everyday.

Things have been rough lately. Car troubles, friends with cancer, its Pride Month yet the past weeks have been filled with hatred towards me and friends because of being trans/nonbinary/queer, lots of things out of my control. Yet all things taking time, and taking my energy. I think this is what burnout feels like.

If only i had the time and energy to see views like this. Nature is healing for me, but its currently out of my reach. Dreaming of better times ahead.
