“Enjoying” these new Spurs third kits.

Many have asked, what the hell is that color?

I’d probably call the color “US Army pink”, after the drab trousers worn as part of the service dress uniform in the 1940s. There was a faint pinkish hue in the khaki. The army informally called the uniform “pinks and greens”.

Anyway, that kit is awful, and I hope I never see it again.

Well...Manchester United...League Cup champions! The match finished up 2-0 and it's been 6 years since the last piece of silverware...not a Man U fan has left Wembly....and they are singing to the team...pretty cool!

Well...still 2-0 at the half and I'm not sure how we got there with Man U not even playing very well...Newcastle has been threatening most of first half but it deflated them some after the second goal...really looking forward to the second half since Man U normally plays better in the second half...Go Red Devils!

I've been following a lot of the #NUFC coverage over the last few days. It's the #LeagueCup final day and honestly,even if we (NUFC) lose I don't give a flying fuck.

We made it to a final, the fans have (so far) done them selves proud. The team have massively over achieved.

Well...that's the match...Man U scored twice in the second half to make the final score 5-0...Man U is moving on to the final at Wembley Stadium against Newcastle on Feb 26th...pretty good match and Man U is playing great so that's something to look forward to...

Well...that's the first half in the Man U match and it is tied at 0-0....but this is one of those strange tournaments where they play two matches and then add the scores together to see who the winner is and Man U scored 3 in the last match so they are ahead by 3...

On my way to the world famous City Ground to watch #nffc in the #leaguecup semi final against #manchesterunited. Amazing to think how our fortunes have changed in the last 12 months.

However we get on tonight, it's great to not be scratting around at the wrong end of the Championship (or even worse League 1!)

well...have been a little productive this morning with getting two posts out to my website, giving myself a haircut, doing laundry, and getting the ribs in the oven for lunch...decided to not use the grill since I don't want to be outside in the cold today...I do have to shovel a little snow and bring the trash can up from the street but that will be after lunch...Southampton plays Newcastle at 3 in the League cup so I need to be done before then....

#NFFC Well, looks like I was wrong about #SteveCooper playing the first team and #Spurs playing their B team. Instead, the opposite happened and we still won!. I'd be cautious about reading too much into it though as its a #LeagueCup match. Still, I like seeing #JoeWorrall back in defence and #Mangala should always start in midfield if fit (and not on a red).

#NFFC I rend tio agree with Fletch on the #GaribaldiRed podcast this week who said we should play our first team with maybe two or three changes against #Spurs in the #LeagueCup. They're going to have a long rest after next Saturday anyway and we know from last season how a decent cup run can bring belief to a team. What does the #Mastodonverse think?
