This was never true.

What is true is those who can do and pay for those who can't who become Tory MPs. #LeakySue and hopeless 'the sea was closed'/'I underestimated the importance of Dover/Calais' Raab are, for example, dreadful lawyers. Gove and Johnson are failed journalists (Johnson wrote fiction when he could not find facts) and Hunt and Shapps failed entrepreneurs, and Cleverly isn't.
