Just listened to all my kids teachers tell me how amazing she is. She’s being tested to see if she still needs an IEP, I think she still needs extra time for assignments, no penalty for spelling errors but we’ll see what the testing says.

She still asks for help spelling basic words but technology is so much better with voice typing/audio books that her dyslexia is less of an issue with most assignments.

This drawing isn't quite expressing what I mean, and is a bludgeon of a picture, but I wanted to get started as it's time to do better at this. And I direct that message very much at myself too

Progress. A only woke once last night at 2 ish. She was hard to settle but after I winged my way through telling a story (just off the top of my head - couldn't risk putting the light on) she drifted off. Phew. Unfortunately I was pretty awake but I think I grabbed an hour in the end.
