#Lemmings kenne ich beispielsweise vom #AtariST, #SNES oder von #DOS her. Mir scheint aber die #Amiga-Version hier die beste Version zu sein. Ich glaube auch, dass die #TestDrive-artigen auf Amiga besser waren.

Just realised that the 2007 game '#Portal' was released as close to the 1991 game '#Lemmings' as it was to today.

Since the PC version of #Lemmings did not have an intro sequence like the #Amiga version had, teenage me coded his own. I didn't have an Amiga, and only saw the intro once in a computer store somewhere, and recreated it from memory. It has no sound, is badly drawn and has janky animation all over, but when I found this on an old 5.25" floppy drive recently, I had to at least preserve it. https://vimeo.com/793759737/ec49ac187c

With the whole country locked inside their houses (April 2020) the entertainment options were pushed to the max.

The only computer game I ever loved (and still do) is Lemmings on the Game Boy.

It was a step back in time for my daughter but I recall her spending a good few levels fighting the fading tech saving Lemmings.

It's a shame they never updated #lemmings. I mean #dosbox works, but it would be nice to have some updated graphics. Kids still liked it!
