This entry is the American Bell P-63C Kingcobra, here taking on the definitive Messerschmitt Bf 109K over Slovakia during the winter of 1944.
The aptly named Kingcobra, although not as elegant as its predecessor (the P-39 Airacobra), was certainly up to the job.

This entry is the American Bell P-39Q Airacobra, here taking on the Messerschmitt Bf 109G over Kuban during the summer of 1943.
Despite jamming my flaps, I managed to get the (pretty dramatic) kill. It was beloved by Soviet pilots and used incredibly effectively.

This entry is the American Curtiss P-40E Warhawk, here taking on the Messerschmitt Bf 109F over Smolensk during the spring of 1942.
As you can see, the P-40 really struggled to keep up with the German fighter. I was very lucky to come out of this one!

Our first entry is the British Hawker Hurricane IIc, here taking on the Bf 109E over Moscow during the winter of 1941.
Really tough dogfight. The Hurricane wasn't much liked by Soviet pilots.
