How does one find out if they've been banned or not? I can't seem to connect and have yet to figure out why. Ping works- ports allowed through ufw... and can sign in via a different IP.

My experience with #liberachat (Libera.Chat) has thankfully been great so far. The website looks pretty decent considering the quick turnaround time and I was pleased to see it had instructions on how to register my nick for SASL auth and of course client-specific instructions for configuring the auto-connect and auto-login. I'm not an IRC power-user so without these small touches I'm lost in the sauce.

It seems most of the channels I frequent are still more active on freenode but I'm already seeing some familiar nicks and I hope folks will take it upon themselves to "lead by example" and treat #freenode as read-only (gotta get the logs) and Libera.Chat as read-write. The "network effect" and all that. See you all on the information super highway :blobcatblep:
