I am trying to find a tool to visualize authorship networks by region - i.e., where the researcher is based - along with author order, topic how often they are cited. Ideally I could also see gender and career stage, but I know those meta-data are harder to come by. Any suggestions? #libraryscience #authorship #academicmedicine #healthequity

another life update:

i have always admired the work of librarians. my original plan for life was to become a librarian. for a couple of reasons i chose to go into software development instead.

i really regret it. while i do like coding (and like the money that comes with it), i feel like it should have just been a hobby that stayed a hobby.

in the fall i'm going to go back to school to get a BA and after that, my MLIS.

In #Ukraine, we use something similar... and, in my opinion - yes, we filled our >100 repositories, but at the same time we killed our institutional culture of #preprints and self-archiving 😥. So, I'm not happy with such a system...
