#LibreSprite doesn't support saving an image as WebP or APNG. But there are online GIF to APNG converters. #GIMP supports WebP and since it support animations, I think I am covered.
@sugarbell
Been working on a christmas piece in pixel art. So I thought I'd share it with y'all.

@vikkio There's a good book "Make Your Own Pixel Art" by NoStarch covering #Asesprite (also compatible with #LibreSprite) features in detail.
I'm aware that Gamedev.TV has at least one course focused on LibreSprite. I can't vouch for it though since I haven't taken it.
I'm not aware of any resources that connect techniques for #Godot and Asesprite/LibreSprite. Typically these are treated as separate disciplines (art, programming). Might be worth reaching out to somebody seen to be doing that.

@RPDekka #LibreSprite is arguably best. It's the #OpenSource fork of the popular #Asesprite software before it went proprietary.
The NoStarch book "Make Your Own Pixel Art" is compatible with it too. I know there are video courses on Gamedev.Tv too.
Otherwise @GIMP is a great editor when configured appropriately. Loads of resources out there.
Worth checking this category on #Flathub too. You may not be running Linux, but the tools shared there are often cross platform: https://flathub.org/apps/category/Graphics
