Finished #LifeOfPi last night.

It's an intriguing book, with an ending which really gets you thinking about truth and fiction, reality, belief, and the power of story. I can't say I *loved* the book overall - sometimes I found the writing style hard to get on with, and I personally didn't need such graphic depictions of slaughter. But I can say that it's a good book, even if it isn't quite for me!

Saw #LifeOfPi at the A.R.T. last night. Absolutely stunning design and puppetry but the script needs work. The second version of Pi's story was rushed through, which stomped the dramatic impact. Richard Parker the #tiger was a gorgeous accomplishment of designer & puppeteers: frankly gave a much better performance than the actor who played Pi. #itNeedsWork #Theatre
