The main character, Frank, played by Steven van Zandt, has the best lines!

"Our happy hour has been a little crazy lately, but I didn't think we were a national security threat."

Steven van Zandt's real name is Steven Lento.
When Frank tastes a certain dish his new chef has made, he says: "This tastes just like my grandma Lento used to make" (I'm paraphrasing here).

RIP #Lilyhammer, the oddballiest lil show with some cringe acting, dialogue and scenes but also some BLAZING AWESOME acting, dialogue and scenes (& gorgeous vistas). Has that cult feel in its oddness and gloss and, wow, its characters.

Appreciate its running commentary on how good intentions aren't enough when humans are so damn fallible, yet we gotta try.

Also love that couple of episodes suggesting the whole series is a dream The Sopranos' Silvio is having, back in his Jersey bed. :valid:
