Original plan for this #drawing was to add the ink layer and clear out the pencil layer, but I kinda like the contrasting overlay. #LineaSketch doesn’t need fancy layer blends if I stay alert for happy accidents.
Tonight’s bedtime drawing is a small segment of that manual symmetry pic I’ve been working on and off in #LineaSketch
Per my last boost, #LineaSketch by #Iconfactory is both excellent in its own right *and* a great way to support them after recent events. It’s a win-win - DO IT!
I have aphantasia. That’s, essentially, a lack of a mind’s eye for anyone who’s unaware. I decided to try out the #SillyCuratorPrompts Hedgehog Solstice challenge today. Seriously, I know what hedgehogs look like, and the one on the left was legit the best I could do without references. For the one on the right I used a reference for the hedgehog then built out the environment around it. I used Linea Sketch on my phone using my finger for both.

I don’t say this about my own #drawing often, but holy crap. The shading in tonight’s knot is remarkable. I just tried color pencil shading how I would on paper, and #LineaSketch said ok.
Trying to get better at blending in #LineaSketch, where I do enough to add some shape to the #drawing, but not so much that I obliterate the distinct color regions.
Sometimes the bedtime #drawing is just trying a few ideas for texture and shadow, this time in #LineaSketch
Tonight’s bedtime doodle in #LineaSketch.
No I don’t know what it’s supposed to be. She thinks it looks like a flower starting to bloom. I think maybe it’s some funky fungus.
