An ultra-rare (and insanely expensive) Buchla Thunder has appeared on Reverb, and it reminds me how thankful I am that, after decades of dreaming about a controller that would perfectly suit my needs, @geert@uwyn.net and Roger Lynn built something I could afford that’s better, and gets better the more I learn. The Thunder sure is pretty, but it’s a cozy nostalgic feeling of faded desire, unlike the Linnstrument, which just invites play.
