Finally figured out how to switch #GNOME notification center to the civilized celsius system for #weather on #LinuxKid using
gsettings set org.gnome.GWeather4 temperature-unit 'centigrade'
For some reason the rest of the system was correct but not the notification center. Because come on, we all know #metric is better.
