Someone on /r/halifax asked about a low-flying aircraft yesterday, and I was able to grab recordings from FlightRadar24, ADSBExchange, and LiveATC to figure out exactly what happened: a helicopter flew across the RNAV approach, so the 767 on approach had their approach clearance cancelled and got vectored around at their approach altitude.

I took the LiveATC recordings of IB6251's mayday in Halifax earlier today and condensed them down to a single recording, with other traffic and gaps removed.

(The approach was uneventful on one engine, and the landing successful, but it's interesting to hear -- especially how calm and methodical it all is.)
