According to the latest @Wwf's #LivingAmazon report released at #COP27, due to relentless #Deforestation, we're on the brink of losing the #AmazonRainforest. We've already lost 18% and 17% more is highly degraded. We're rapidly approaching to the dangerous 25% threshold in which it would irreversible downgrade into a savanna. In fact, there're already clear signs of savannization in #Brazil and #Bolivia.

But it's not too late, we can still #SaveTheAmazon. To do so, we'll require a massive collaboration from governments, civil societies, the private sector and especially #IndigenousComunities to boost #Conservation. The report recommends to at least protect 80% of the #Amazon by 2025.
