Pay close attention to the small elections. Our city will be electing a mayor for the first time instead of them being appointed by the city council. Scanning the endorsements for the first candidate to announce, I was surprised to see MY name. I had supported him for council 4 years prior, and he thought that was close enough. If I hear one more person saying they don't have time to research judges and school board members before they vote, I'm going to scream loud enough to be heard on the moon. Do you have any idea how long a judge known by all the clerks as Judge Touchy Feely was allowed to remain on the bench? Do you think the TN Justins would be back in office if no one cared about local elections? Do you know who is banning books and trying to defund libraries all over the country? #LocalElectionsMatter

Republicans in Missouri, Louisiana and Texas want to shut down libraries rather than allow books they've banned to be read.
