1 year ago, when Russia invaded Ukraine and many countries applied sanctions to Russian oligarchs... the UK did so too, **BUT** it also gave them 30 days notice.

IOW 30 days to sort out their assets/cash and move them elsewhere. You could sell a football team in 30 days.
