Only forty more rows to go on the sweater front! I’ll have it off the knitting loom before I head to visit my mom on the 16th! I’ll take the new loom and work on washcloths at her place. Don’t have to worry about a pattern and just measure. 🙌🏻 #LoomKnitting

Help! As a blind knitter, I have trouble understanding if a pattern on a knitted cloth can be seen if the yarn is not a solid color. So, if I knit a butterfly dishcloth/washcloth with a two-tone yarn or multicolored yarn, will the pattern be visible? Thanks! #knitting #LoomKnitting

1. I texted with Mama about a visitor she had today. It was an old friend and he told her he would come back when I’m down there. #OldFriends
2. I finished an #AudioBook today. It was one I was listening to while pacing when my sugar levels were high and I needed to walk it down.
3. Only five more rows to go then I can bind off the back panel of the purple sweater and I finished the sample cloth I was working on and it is perfection. 🙌🏻 #LoomKnitting

I’ve finished a small cloth using the true knit stitch on 20 pegs of my AKB knitting loom and absolutely love it. I’ve made cloths using the e-wrap stitch and they never would lather up using a bar of soap no matter how hard I tried and it was a disappointment to me. But this stitch and the stockinette method is perfection! I have loads of cotton yarn and when my new loom arrives, I will have a spur of the moment project to grab and work on. 🙌🏻 #LoomKnitting

Another 10 rows knocked out today and I’ve started a dhishcloth on my DA hat loom in small gauge using the true knit stitch and purl. We’ll see how it goes! 🙌🏻 #LoomKnitting

Of the back panel of the purple sweater, I’ve completed 90 of 168 rows! Over half way done. 👏🏻 #LoomKnitting

@apples_and_pears I’ve never had any of the pegs fall out of my CynDwood looms bvut if they do, I’ll just tap them back in with a small piece of paper towel or tissue to hold them in. I only have one KB loom and enjoy it for certain things but much prefer my CynDwood or DA looms. I’ve been doing #LoomKnitting for several years and have experimented with many different bind off techniques and have found I prefer my version of a crochet bind off. Do you have a favorite project on the looms? 😁

Good morning!! Today is Tuesday so I’ll be calling my mom and deciding when my next visit will be. It will be in September but we have to decide exactly when. Woke up in the night with my right shoulder aching from too much #LoomKnitting!🤣 I’ll do my best to get this sleeve done today then take a break from the looms for a bit. 3. We watched epi 7 of The Witcher. Only one more to go then we have to wait forever for season 4.
