In "Buzzard School", Momma Vulture needs rabbit meat for dinner, and sends Beaky out to get some. A supershort has Marvin encounter some biting problems on a planet's surface. And "Wet Cement" shows Porky just trying finish up work.

I really liked BuzzardSchool. I kinda wished the vultures were used more. Great gags, but I do have to say it did kinda feel like punching down here or there. Cement was simple, but pretty creative.

I'm also noticing that some of these shorts are imitating the 20-50s shorts really well, but I'm starting to feel the imitation. The teams behind the 20-50s shorts were doing new jokes & new things for the time. And the current teams -can- [& sometimes do] fall into the trap of just imitating, or focusing on the imitation. Rather than doing something that amuses themselves, *AND* fits in the effort to recreate the 20-50s feel. And I think RhinoYaDont does this really well.

On "Pest Coaster", Bugs goes to an amusement park, and put's Sam through a rollercoster of a time. No super short. But in "Rhino Ya Don't", Tweety has a symbiotic wewationship with a rhino, while Sylvester is an aaaasshole!

I have to say, RhinoYaDont is my fav so far! It slaps a whole lot harder than most of the others. The animation has an impact you can feel. And the gags are visceral.

In the wintery "Pain in the Ice", Sylvester tries to capture Tweety while he's skating. But is the cat the one on thin ice? The "Tunnel Vision" supershort has Whiley find a new hitch on an old gag. And in "Pool Bunny", Bugs has fun with his pool buddy, Elmer.

I liked the Pool one. Some nice Buggs&Elmer fun. And I thought Tunnel Vision was pretty clever. I was honestly expecting more fluid animation on this (30ish fps). It's not bad, but expected more.

In "Boo! Appetweet" Sylvester finally eats Tweetie, and is haunted by the experience. A supershort that is missing something. And in "Bubble Dum", Daffy gets into a mess with some with his favorite fruit.

There is some good gross out humor in the Daffy one. And I kinda like exploring what would happen if Sylvester actual ate that bird. I will say the timing on some of these jokes (editing) is a ssscotch slower than I'd like, but still effective.

This time we have Big League Beast, where Bugs wants to watch the big game at a neighbor's house, but mad scientist wants Gossamer to do what he does best [& it's still not good at it]. Then a *super short* Elmer & Bugs [heh]. And lastly, Firehouse Frenzy, where Porky & Daffy have difficulty responding to fire call.

They do some weird things with Gossamer in BigLeague. And there is an elaborate fireman's pole sequence I love. Also, smartphone appearance. Still good so far.

The productions on all of them do a fair job of recapturing the art style of the 20-60s toons, without the pitfalls of 20-60s technology. There was a very small cat-calling joke I think we could have done without. But so far, we dont have the pitfalls of 20-60s social progress. For a min there, I thought we were getting a gay situation with Daffy and the Monkeybird, but then the toon sets Daffy as the "woman" of the situation. #MissedOpportoonity Mostly, it's fun so far.

I'll be watching 1 #LooneyTunesCartoons a day [unknown how consistently]. Altho, one cartoon is a bit misquoted as this 12 min episode contains 2 shorts & a supershort.

1st is "Curse of the Monkeybird", a Porky & Daffy outing to a remote island on a hunt to find the treasure of said Monkeybird. This was fun. It had some fun ancient ruins jokes. After a supershort Marvin toon, we have Harm Wrestling. Where YosamitySam ropes Bugs into an arm wrestling match. Bugs is an adequate ass in this one.

Porky's just an honest pig trying to make an honest hour of pay, and a clean slab of cement.
