Forgot to do a follow up post showing a bit more of the Deffstrike.

These show how the main vehicle was done, two Chimeras were used to make it longer and the whole thing was widened. It was based on the old Epic model which had a larger transport vehicle. I built it as an Imperial vehicle first, then looted it.

Scale shot shows how big it is.

Rokkit was removable and the launcher raised & lowered.

Been quiet for a few days, I was at Warhammer World for a Warcry Tournament, then had various boring crap to do.

So, have another old Ork build.

Probably, maybe, my favourite one. Da Deffstrike Rokkit Launcha.

Widened & lengthened Chimera hull for an old school (pre 40K model) Deathstrike Missile Launcher, then I looted it and scratchbuilt a massive Grot piloted Rokkit. It raised and lowered. Wish I'd kept it.

Few more pictures of the Kopta Karrier.

It breaks down into three main body pieces plus the forward turret. All weapons are removable and a few more pieces are magnetised. Partly for painting purposes but also for transport.

Last pic is the underside showing how much the Baneblade hull was widened and lengthened.

Must admit I rather enjoyed building this one and I was happy how it came together. Happily the customer was pleased with the result.

Da Kopta Karrier is the biggest conversion I have done (though not the tallest). It was done as a commission, hence no painted pictures.

Stats:
Length: 430mm (17")
(including Boomgun: 450mm (17.75"))
Width: 312mm (12.25")
Height to top of AA gun with barrel lowered: 265mm (10.5")
Total Weight: 1.72kg

I added 6174 rivets.

Turrets moved. It came apart into 4 main pieces.
