1) I *really* hate to take up space on #Fediverse servers :E
1a) I mean, I'm the dude that hand-optimizes PNG images, just for #fedi (look up #LossyPNG)
2) I'll never post a selfie online, or a photo of my family, or of my home, because *sigh* technodystopia is NOW!
3) What else is there to snap a photo of? :/

I'm more concerned about permanent storage than caching, though, because I never delete anything.

I had a brief moment of horrified panic when I saw the #LossyPNG tag, that maybe lossy compression had been added to the PNG standard. 😱
I trust PNGs to be my trusted lossless image format!
