The invasion of Crimea and the “uprising” in #Donbas was started by Russian Army troops out of uniform, as punishment for #Euromaidan and the desire of the majority of Ukraine to build stronger ties with the #EU and the west. There was no oppression of Russian language or culture in Ukraine, and in fact most of the broadcast media in eastern Ukraine came from Russia...
