this basically means that backups – at least like this – are worth nothing when working with #luminar4

A client needs highres photos for print. Many were edited in #luminar4 and only exported in 2000p. Got the Luminar 4 Catalog from a backup as i am now all into the macOS VM. After some struggle i had the source files relinked and the edit history there, but none of it wanted to actually apply (WTF).

* tried an usb adapter but windows went BSOD.
* tried my old PCI adapter but the nvme didn't show up.

...I then learned that my mobo got a hidden nvme slot behind a sheet of metal lol :troll:
