A #moody submission for #MeerMittwoch and this is Lyme Regis, Dorset, UK. As you can see, the tide was out a fair distance and the weather was somewhat threatening. That harbour wall is The Cobb, featured in Jane Austen’s Persuasion and the film adaptation of John Fowles’s The French Lieutenant’s Woman.

Exceptionally low tide in #LymeRegis today 0.51 metres. This revealed Lucy's Ledge to it's fullest extent and some hidden beaches behind the harbour wall.
